It’s not like I have anything special to say every day. Busy, busy, busy.
1. Own and live in a house.
No steps towards this goal. The money I have invested is growing there somewhere, slowly, but steadily. But I didn’t manage any active step.
2. Write AND publish a book.
This Sunday was a rater writing-heavy day. Mainly because I had to send a piece of children’s fantasy story to other people in my workshop to get their feedback. I thought that I hated this task but it turned out quite well. Even so well that I might consider expanding it and actually write a children’s fantasy book that revolves around the idea of a mythological creature called kratt – a creature made of hay and random items that brings its owner a fortune and does all kinds of work but kills the owner if no more jobs are assigned to it. Oh, and you do need three drops of blood to bring it to life. These should be given to the Devil at crossroads and when you finally die you will go to Hell. What an idea for a children’s story! Just wanted to see how it all would look like from a child’s point of view. A child building a kratt to help her granny with gardening…
3. Win a major race.
My legs were still sore from the uphill training and I didn’t embark on the long run with much hope. Let’s be honest, I was exhausted at the end of it. It was a nice track, though, all around the Kewstoke hill. Did get my 20K done eventually. Even had the energy to walk to the beach in the evening to watch the high tide. Usually, we were inside or walking the dog near the house during the high tide. But the house owner returned we walked the dog earlier and could leave for the beach. So we did.
