I like to be hopeful because this helps me to carry on and survive. Things can always get worse or they could always get better. The current moment is only one moment in time, it will pass. Everything shall pass. I had been quite devastated about not having a house to sit. What kind of house sitter I would be without a house? Almost a week had gone by in different hostels and I was growing weary. Enough. I need some privacy to work and study better and finally start with that cookbook I had in mind. I even toyed with the idea of committing to a house sit in Essex (all way on the other side of London) and was quite willing to drive back and forth for my Monday and Wednesday classes. This would have meant getting on a bus around 1 am at night (!) because there were no other options to get back to London after the class (ends 8pm) and arriving in London at 5.10am. I did realise that it would mean being dead for the rest of the day. Glad that I didn’t do it. I accepted living in a hostel for a while and confirmed a house sit from October 10. Here, in Cardiff. I met with the couple that I would be sitting for and they were such fun people to be around with! I do not regret that I accepted their sit, although it is a short one and means spending some more nights at some kind of hostel before it begins. I felt quite happy after meeting them, I had secured a sit for myself. And so far, this is the only one happening in Cardiff. All the rest are a bit further away.
1. Own and live in a house.
Continued listening to investment podcasts and educating myself on the topic to grow my money in a better way. Moreover, I visited a pub as a mystery shopper, which means that I had a free meal (after submitting a report about the visit, of course). Money saved, yes!
2. Write AND publish a book.
Continued my creative writing homework and read about estrangement and cognition as related to H. G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds. Moreover, I drafted a plan for a (healthy) recipe book that will include Christmas foods. I will start developing the recipes and taking awesome photos quite soon and the plan is to publish an e-book by December 1. I will let you know when it comes out. It will be in English and you could buy it online! Yes! The first book published soon.
3. Win a major race.
Another easy jog in the morning, saving energy for Saturday’s 5K park run. Walked a lot as well and rented Nextbike to cycle to the pub. Quite an active day.

Just walking somewhere by the seaside/riverside. Nice weather.
